1. Detroit Lions (-3.5) vs. GB – The Packers have nothing to play for and will likely rest their starters. The Lions are still playing for Playoff seeding.

They’ll cover the point spread with an easy win on Sunday.

2. San Francisco 49ers (-10.5) vs. Stl. – The Rams know Steve Spagnuolo‘s out after this game and no effort on their part will save their head coach’s job. They’ll also want to avoid injury with the off-season directly following the game.

San Francisco is playing for the No. 2 seed and will win this going away.

3. Miami Dolphins (-2) vs. NYJ – For all of the talk Rex Ryan did to start the year, he couldn’t back it up. The Jets will find themselves on the wrong side of the final score when they head down to Miami.

They’ll also find themselves out of the Playoffs.

4. Seattle Seahawks (+3) vs. Arz – See Money Line Bet.

Buffalo Bills (+11) vs. NE – Will the Patriots win? Yes. By 11? We don’t think so. The improved Bills play will carry over this week and result in a loss by a TD.

Cincinnati Bengals (+2.5) vs. Bal – The Ravens are an anomaly. They’re seemingly dominant some weeks and less than spectacular in others. They’ve been the latter more times than not recently and Cincinnati will be revved up with a chance to lock down the 6th seed.

Carolina Panthers (+8.5) vs. NO – The Saints are very good at home, but there’s a real chance that once they see the 49ers destroying the Rams they’ll decide to rest their starters, since the Wild Card game is a week away. That will open up things for Newton and Co. to keep things close.

Seattle Seahawks (+125) vs. Arz – Both teams have played very well down the stretch, and both were eliminated from the Playoff race with tight losses a week ago. Of the two teams, Seattle has been the more physical team over the 2nd half of the season and will pull out the close win here to finish at .500 on the season.

1. Chicago Bears (-1) vs. New York Jets – The Jets Mark Sanchez is hurt and struggles in the cold and Chicago will be frigid on Sunday. The Bears are playing for the No. 2 seed and will win a close one on Sunday.

2. Houston Texans (-2.5) vs. Denver Broncos – The Broncos might be the worst team in football today and QB Tim Tebow is behind center. Expect the Texans to come into Denver and roll the Broncos pretty handily.

3. Atlanta Falcons (-2.5) vs. New Orleans Saints – This is the game the Falcons will bury all hopes of the Saints in the NFC South and secure home field advantage throughout. Expect a close, hard fought game, but one in which Matt Ryan and Michael Turner lead the Falcons to victory by more than a FG.

4. New York Giants (+3) vs. Green Bay Packers – See Money Line Bet

Rounding Out the List

Baltimore Ravens (-3.5) vs. Cleveland Browns – The Browns string of competitive games has come to an end and Eric Mangini is back on the hot seat. Look for the Ravens to win by at least 7 on Sunday.

New England Patriots (-7.5) vs. Buffalo Bills – The Patriots took their foot off the gas pedal vs. the Packers last week which is why the score was so close. With home field theirs for the taking, expect a romp in Buffalo to the tune of a 2 TD victory.

St. Louis Rams (-2.5) vs. San Francisco 49ers – While the Rams and Sam Bradford appear to have hit a wall, outcoaching Mike Singletary is one of the easiest things in sports to do. Steve Spagnuolo will lead his Rams team to at least a three point win.

Money Line Bet

New York Giants (+135) vs. Green Bay Packers

The Giants were embarrassed with their 4th quarter collapse to the Eagles a week ago but they know what lies in front of them. If they beat the Pack, they’re in the playoffs. Green Bay is also fighting for their Playoff lives and have Aaron Rodgers back.

Provided the Giants are mentally in the right place, expect a tough road win. They match up well against Green Bay in that they can run the ball and stop the run. Green Bay does neither of those well. This will be the deciding factor in the game.

The Giants win 20-17 and advance to the Wild Card.
