Well, if you didn’t go with Seattle last week and are still alive, here is your Week 13 picks.

Top Pick

1. Chicago Bears vs. Sea – The Seahawks are a poor road team and QB Russell Wilson will be exposed on Sunday against this defense. The Bears offense will do enough to put this one out of reach, while the Bears D will do what it does best: create turnovers and force the Seahawks into mistakes.

Look for an easy win as you advance in your suicide pool.

Next

2. Carolina Panthers vs. KC – The Chiefs are 1-10 for a reason. The Panthers, while only 3-8, have been playing better ball lately and will come away with a W this week.

3. Dallas Cowboys vs. Phi – If Dallas is still available to you, plug them in here. The Eagles have thrown the towel in on the season and Andy Reid‘s fate will be officially sealed in another month. The Cowboys, who have been very ordinary at home in 2012, will roll here.

It’s onto Week 10 of your NFL suicide pool after no surprises in Week 9. Since it’s getting late into the season, and most good teams have been selected, our top pick will be a team that this blog has not used yet.

Top Pick

1. Pittsburgh Steelers vs. KC – The Steelers are starting to roll (winners of four of their last five) and will roll on Monday Night.

The offense has now found its running game and is hitting on all cylinders, and the defense has raised its level of play since the embarrassing loss to the Titans. This one will be over early.

Next

2. Seattle Seahawks vs. NYJ – QB Mark Sanchez is going to find the going tough in Seattle on Sunday. Look for the Seahawks’ defense to control the tempo as Seattle pulls out the 24-7 win.

3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. SD – Even though they ended up routing the Chiefs last Thursday, the Chargers problems are still real and plenty. The Bucs on the other hand are playing better ball for rookie HC Greg Schiano and rookie RB Doug Martin is on quite a two-game stretch.

Look for Tampa to hand San Diego another loss on Sunday.

Top Pick

1. Dallas Cowboys (+4) vs. Atl – See money line bet.

Next

2. Houston Texans (-10.5) vs. Buf – Both teams are coming off the bye, but the Bills road woes will continue. Look for a well rested Texans team to roll Buffalo at home and easily cover the point spread.

3. Miami Dolphins (-2) vs. Ind – The Dolphins D will be the difference in this one.

4. Seattle Seahawks (-4.5) vs. Min – The Vikings will find out that playing in Seattle is a difficult thing to do. Seattle will out-muscle the Vikings and win by 7-10 points.

The Rest

Denver Broncos (-3.5) vs. Cin – The Bengals have had trouble beating winning teams in the Andy Dalton era. Expect the Broncos to control the game on both sides of the ball in this one.

Detroit Lions (-4) vs. Jax – Have the Lions actually turned the corner on the season? We’re not so sure, but beating the Jaguars by 4 isn’t a tall order.

New York Giants (-3.5) vs. Pit – In a battle of the top QBs from the 2004 draft, it’s the Giants D which is the ultimate difference maker in what will be a close affair throughout.

Money Line Bet

Dallas Cowboys (+180) vs. Atl – Nothing has gone wrong for the Falcons this season which is why something will on Sunday Night. The Cowboys enter this one off a close loss to the Giants, but match-up well defensively with the Falcons high flying offense.

The Cowboys DBs will do a good job locking down WR Julio Jones and WR Roddy White, and LB/DE DeMarcus Ware and Co. will attack QB Matt Ryan all evening.

But this will be won on offense. Look for QB Tony Romo and Co. to put their most complete effort of the season together on Sunday Night to pull off the upset.

There were some upsets in Week 1 that ended many people’s suicide pools for 2012… New Orleans and Seattle top the list, with Carolina right behind. The Eagles also gave more than a few a scare.

Now it’s on to Week 2 of the suicide pool.

Top pick

1. New England Patriots vs. Arz – This is the easiest pick on the board. The Pats get to face Kevin Kolb in their home opener and should win going away 40-17 . Tom Brady and Co. will toy with the defense.

2. Cincinnati Bengals vs. Cle – The Bengals got pummeled pretty thoroughly on Monday Night by the Ravens. But the Browns are just the team to get them back on track.

Facing rookie QB Brandon Weeden, expect the defense to get healthy quickly and force multiple turnovers, while limiting the Browns point total. Offensively, the Bengals will put up between 24-30 points.

3. Oakland Raiders vs. Mia – The Dolphins are bad, and they’re going to be bad for a while. Expect the Raiders to have fixed their long snapping woes but regardless, the Raiders D will make life miserable for Ryan Tannehill all day.

It’s on to Week 14 of the NFL Suicide Pool.

Top Pick

1. Seattle Seahawks vs. Stl – The Rams are beat up, demoralized and ready to get the season over. They’re also playing on the road where they’ve been horrible in 2011.

Look for Seattle to continue its winning ways at home and roll the Seahawks on Sunday.

Next

2. Denver Broncos vs. Chi – The Bears are in dire straits these days. First Jay Cutler was lost and now RB Matt Forte is out… and there’s only so much a defense can do before it begins to break.

The Broncos, who are getting a huge lift from its defense and Tim Tebow, will easily cover the point spread and blow out the Bears.

3. Baltimore Ravens vs. Ind – If you haven’t used the Ravens yet in your suicide pool now would be a great time. The Colts pursuit of imperfection is moving along brilliantly and Baltimore will annihilate them by 20 points at home on Sunday.
