1. San Diego Chargers (+2.5) vs. Det – See money line bet.

2.  Carolina Panthers (-7.5) vs. TB – The Bucs have regressed horribly in 2011.

They’re in the midst of an eight-game losing streak and the heat is on their head coach, Raheem Morris. The Panthers on the other hand are on the upswing and Cam Newton will lead them to an easy victory here.

3.  Seattle Seahawks (+2) vs. SF – The point spread is less than a FG because the Niners are on the road and on a short week. But the Seahawks are also much better now than they were earlier in the year, especially on defense.

Expect a close, low scoring game, which Seattle may very well pull out in the end.

4. Miami Dolphins (+10) vs. NE – There’s always the possibility of the Patriots suffering a minor letdown after last week’s big win over Tim Tebow and Co. The Fins have also been competitive in nearly every game since the midpoint of the season.

The Rest

Denver Broncos (-3) vs. Buf – The Broncos will move one step closer to wrapping up the AFC West after Sunday’s win.

Arizona Cardinals (+4) vs. Cin – The game has plenty of importance to the Bengals playoff hopes, but the Cards are streaking at the right time. Expect them to keep the final score to within three points.

Kansas City Chiefs (-2) vs. Oak – The Raiders looked poised for an AFC West crown just a few weeks ago but those dreams have disappeared after three straight losses. It’ll be four after Saturday.

Money Line Bet

San Diego Chargers (+120) vs. Det – The Chargers are on fire since the Jacksonville game. The resurgence of Philip Rivers can primarily be attributed to the raised level of play from the offensive line, and San Diego has moved to 7-7 on the season.

The Lions on the other hand still feature an explosive offense but their defense has become ordinary.

Look for the Bolts to win their 4th in a row in a high scoring game on Saturday.

It’s on to Week 3 of the NFL suicide pool.

1. San Diego Chargers vs. Kansas City Chiefs – The Chargers were on the opposite end of our suicide pool pick a week ago. They’re not losing this one. In fact, there’s no reason why they shouldn’t win by 20.

The Chiefs come in reeling after losing their star RB Jamaal Charles for the season in Week 2. They were also destroyed 48-3 to the Lions in that contest.

Expect Phillip Rivers and Co. to have a field day against a soft defense and put up 30+ points.  And when Kansas City has the ball, look for Matt Cassel to continue his turnover ways en route to another lopsided Chiefs’ loss.

2. Tennessee Titans vs. Denver Broncos – The Broncos have a ton of issues and health concerns. Although they’re getting some of their key players back, they’re still learning a new system and must go on the road here, which is never an easy task.

Look for the Titans to move their record to 2-1 after a relatively easy win.

3. Seattle Seahawks vs. Arizona Cardinals – If your suicide pool rewards choosing underdogs, the Seahawks are an intriguing option on Sunday.Yes, they stink. But Arizona isn’t much better and this one is in Seattle, the home of the 12th man. We expect the Seahawks to put on a good performance in their home opener and pull out the close win late.

1. Phillip Rivers - They’re facing the Niners secondary on Thursday Night. Expect Rivers to light it up.

2. Peyton Manning - The Jags are vulnerable to the passing game.

3. Tom Brady – Is anyone hotter in the league? Nope.

4. Matt Schaub - The Titans have thrown in the towel. Schaub will light up this secondary.

Next in Line

Drew Brees - Look for him to air it out against the Ravens D.

Joe Flacco – Look for Flacco and Co. to find a lot of success through the air.

Matt Ryan - He’s good for 2 TDs per game.

Rounding Out the List

Michael Vick - He’ll make a few big plays vs. the Giants D. Could be with his legs.

Eli Manning - He’s got his toys back (Nicks, Smith). Look for a two TD game vs. the Eagles.

Josh Freeman - The Lions secondary is not their strong point.

Jon Kitna - Expect the vet to toss for over 225 yards and 2 TDs.

Matt Hasselback - Look for Hasselback to get some receivers back and throw for a few TDs.

David Garrard -This could be a passing affair. Look for Garrard to have a solid game.

Matt Cassel - If he’s back, he’ll put up solid fantasy numbers.

Aaron Rodgers – Check his status mid-week. If he can go, he’s a must start.

Fantasy Sleeper of the Week

Carson Palmer - The bad news is they’ve lost 10 in a row. The good news is they get the Browns this week and we like Palmer to toss multiple TDs on Sunday. Palmer’s a solid fantasy sleeper this week.

1. Mike Vick - The Texans sport one of the worst pass defenses in the NFL. He’s the top ranked fantasy football QB in Week 13.

2. Phillip Rivers - The Raiders are hurting and Rivers is on fire.

3. Peyton Manning - Look for Manning to torch a very suspect Cowboys Defense.

4. Aaron Rodgers - Mr. everything in the Packers offense will easily surpass 300 yards and 3 TDs vs. the 49ers

Next In Line

Matt Schaub – The injuries to the Eagles D will open up passing lanes for Schaub and Co.

Drew Brees – The Bengals are in disarray. Look for a big afternoon out of Brees.

Matt Cassell - He’s been on fire. Look for KC to run up the score on the Broncos after their last game in Denver.

Rounding Out the List

Jay Cutler - He’s playing well right now and the Lions secondary is average.

Kyle Orton - The lack of running game will have Orton winging it once again in Arrowhead.

Joe Flacco - The Steelers main weakness on D is its CBs.

Shaun Hill - The Bears can be hurt in the passing game. Look for Hill and his skill players to have big games.

Ryan Fitzpatrick - He consistently turning in quality fantasy performances.

Jon Kitna - The Cowboys receivers should be able to overwhelm the Colts secondary.

Mark Sanchez - The Patriots have the worst ranked pass defense statistically in the NFL. Sanchez to Holmes and Keller?

David Garrard - The Titans defense looks like a ghost of its earlier season product.

Fantasy Sleeper of the Week

Chad Henne – The Browns feisty team features a less than average secondary. Henne’s a solid fantasy sleeper in Week 13 and will top 225 yard with 2 or 3 TDs against Cleveland.

1. Aaron Rodgers - The Falcons are exceptionally vulnerable to the passing game. Rodgers is the top ranked fantasy football QB in Week 12.

2. Peyton Manning - No running game has Manning throwing more than he’d like to, which is good in fantasy.

3. Tom Brady - The Lions just allowed 3 TDs (passing) to Jon Kitna.

4. Phillip Rivers - The Chargers only know one way to move the ball: through the air.

Next In Line

Ben Roethlisberger – His 4 TD performance vs. the Raiders bodes well vs. the Bills.

Michael Vick - The Bears aren’t the easiest opponent but Vick is playing at a very high level in ’10.

Drew Brees - Look for him to follow up his 4 TD performance against the Seahawks with another 3 TD game in Big D.

Rounding Out the List

Matt Schaub - Schaub will have a ton of success against a suspect Titans pass D.

Joe Flacco - Flacco will toss multiple TDs against the incoming Bucs.

Mark Sanchez – His game is steadily improving and he and Santonio Holmes are becoming a big-time duo.

Shaun Hill - The Pats secondary is vulnerable to big plays.

Matt Cassel – While Cassel’s yards aren’t overwhelming, he is finding the end zone. That’ll continue this week.

Donovan McNabb – He’ll likely face a different Vikings team but should put up solid numbers

Josh Freeman - He continues to impress. Pencil him in for at least 2 TDs in Week 12.

Matt Hasselbeck - The Seahawks passing game is more efficient at home. Hasselback will be good for at least 2 TDs vs. the Chiefs.

Fantasy Sleeper of the Week

Derek Anderson – The Niners horrid effort Sunday showed there’s not much to look forward to in San Francisco. Look for Anderson to hook up with Larry Fitzgerald and Co. and he’s a good fantasy sleeper in Week 11.
