Joe Flacco (ranked 19) vs. Oak – The Broncos destroyed the Ravens OL leaving Flacco with no time to pass. Oak is not Denver. Flacco will find more of a rhythm and finish a top 15 FFL QB this week.

Sam Bradford (ranked 12) vs. Dal – Chip will want to mix it up a little better in the pass / run game. Running the ball will open things up for Bradford who will finish with 25 points.

Eli Manning (ranked 11) vs. Atl – The mistake is behind him. So is the throw everything underneath plan. You can bet NY will take some shots deep and Eli will have a top 10 FFL day.

Teddy Bridgewater (ranked 18) vs Det – Not really sure what happened with Bridgewater in Week 1 but he’ll rebound here. The Lions D looked anything but stingy in Week 1 and it’s at home.

Andy Dalton (ranked 27) vs. SD – TE Tyler Eifert gives Dalton a safety blanket and opens up things for everyone else, namely, AJ Green. Dalton will top 275 yards with 2 scores.

Players who will underperform their top 10 ranking in Week 2:

Andrew Luck (ranked 2) vs. NYJ – The loss of TY Hilton hurts. Revis will lock down Andre Johnson and that leaves a few TEs and some unproven receivers as Luck’s main threat. He’ll get his points but won’t finish a top 5 fantasy scorer in Week 2.

Tom Brady (ranked vs. NE – The Patriots offense is excellent. But so is the Bills D. Emotion is high but look for a subpar effort out of Brady this week.

Tier 1

Philip Rivers vs. KC – Look for Rivers to continue his hot start at home.

Tony Romo vs. NYG – Romo will top 250 yards with 2 TDs. The run sets up everything.

Matt Stafford vs. NO – The loss of Calvin Johnson lowers him a bit, but still a No. 1 vs. the Saints.

Cam Newton vs. GB – The Packers D is down a few DBs potentially. Newton’s using his legs more too.

Russell Wilson vs. Stl. – Expect Wilson to get back to playing like his normal self against the Rams.

Joe Flacco vs. Atl – Tough to repeat last week’s effort but this is a great matchup.

Jay Cutler vs. Mia – The Dolphins D just got torched for 3 TDs. Cutler can put up 250+ yards and 2 TDs.

Tier 2

Alex Smith vs. SD – There could be issues with the Chargers pass D.

Matt Ryan vs. Bal – Ryan still benefits from garbage time points.

Carson Palmer vs. Oak – Palmer has a nice matchup here. Could top 225 with 2 TDs.

Kirk Cousins vs. Ten – Cousin’s may be benched but it won’t happen this week. He’ll put up 20+ fantasy points.

Bust

Drew Brees vs. Det – Something is missing with the Saints and it’s more than TE Jimmy Graham.

11. Philip Rivers, SD – Had a wonderful turnaround season a year ago. Look for a step back however facing the NFC West, and the Broncos and Raiders have improved defensively from a year ago.

12. Jay Cutler, Chi – The Bears D should put the Bears in a lot of high scoring affairs. Cutler has a tremendous duo to throw to and will once again finish a low end No. 1.

13. Tony Romo, Dal – The Cowboys OL is solid, and Bryant is continuing to flourish as a No. 1. Romo will notch 30 TDs and should be in a lot of high scoring games due to a woeful D.

14. Nick Foles, Phi – Look for a significant step back this year. The league will have a year’s worth of tape on Chip Kelly’s offense and it’ll be tough for Foles to replicate last year’s stellar season. Desean Jackson is now gone which takes away the deep threat.

15. Russell Wilson, Sea – The kid will continue to get better, and a healthy WR Percy Harvin will help. However, this will still be a team that wins on running and D.

16. Ben Roethlisberger, Pit – Big Ben is a back-up or spot starter. He will have some big games, but won’t be as consistent as a No. 1 should be.

17. Andy Dalton, Cin – Another year into his development and another year for AJ Green. Dalton, like Roethlisberger, will be too inconsistent to rely on as a No. 1 but a solid spot starter.

18. Eli Manning, NYG – The Giants offense received a complete makeover. The new system will help Eli and Co. but he is a No. 2 FFL QB until performance says otherwise.

19. Carson Palmer, Arz – There are plenty of weapons in Arizona, but the NFC West is brutal. Six of his games he can’t be trusted as a starter.

20. Joe Flacco, Bal – He’s a fantasy sleeper this year. They brought in Steve Smith which will take pressure off of Torrey Smith, and Dennis Pitta is back. He could end up a top 12 FFL QB end of year.

3. Baltimore Ravens vs. Pit – The Ravens are very tough at home and this is on a short week.

4. Carolina Panthers vs. TB – This is not as good of a match-up as it appeared a few weeks ago, but still favors Carolina.

Not far behind

Seattle Seahawks vs. NO – The Seahawks will be coming after Brees on Monday. New Orleans is vulnerable on the road.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Bal – Joe Flacco is a turnover machine.

Arizona Cardinals vs. Phi – This will be a better D than Foles has seen all year.

Rounding things out

Denver Broncos vs. KC –Von Miller is at full strength and they should have some key members back in the secondary.

St. Louis Rams vs. SF – Don’t be fooled by Kaepernick’s performance on Monday. This D is exponentially better than Washington.

Buffalo Bills vs. Atl – The Falcons have mailed in the season.

New York Jets vs. Mia – Rex Ryan’s bunch plays better at home. They played well last week.

Potential Bust –Beware

Dallas Cowboys vs. Oak – The Cowboys are beat up and the Raiders are not nearly as bad as one would think.

1. Seattle Seahawks vs. Ind – The Seahawks will attack the Colts depleted offensive line and wreak havoc on Luck and Co.

2. Cleveland Browns vs. Buf – The Browns are playing excellent defense now.

3. San Francisco 49ers vs. Hou – Matt Schaub is good for a costly turnover (pick 6) weekly nowadays. Houston is really struggling on the road.

4. Kansas City Chiefs vs. Ten – The Titans will be playing with their back-up this week.

Not far behind

Atlanta Falcons vs. NYJ – Geno Smith is a turnover machine.

Rounding things out

Baltimore Ravens vs. Mia – Their D is not the issue. Double digit fantasy points three weeks in a row.

Cincinnati Bengals vs. NE – They’re more of a No. 2 play here, but could surprise. They play much better D at home.

Miami Dolphins vs. Bal – Joe Flacco is coming off a 5 INT performance.

San Diego Chargers vs. Oak – The Raiders are banged up and weren’t good in the first place.

Denver Broncos vs. Dal – Denver’s offense continuously puts opposing offenses into passing situations which leads to turnovers.

Potential Bust – Beware

New Orleans Saints vs. Chi – The Saints D has started very well in 2013. They’ll find the going tough vs. Cutler and Co. at home.

11. Eli Manning, NYG – The return of a healthy Hakeem Nicks, to go with Victor Cruz and 2nd year WR Rueben Randle, means Eli will come a lot closer to his 2011 season once again. Look for another 4,200-4,500 yard season with 30 TDs.

12. Matthew Stafford, Det - He disappointed a year ago, mostly due to an unimaginative offense run in Detroit and a big hole at the No. 2 WR position. RB Reggie Bush is a nice addition and Stafford will return to form fantasy wise in 2013. He could end up a top 7 point scorer.

13. Tony Romo, Dal – Romo’s numbers are low No. 1 worthy and a lot of his success will be dependent on Dez Bryant’s ability to play at a high level once again.

14. Andy Dalton, Cin – AJ Green’s continued growth plus a few other weapons at the skill positions, including 1st round pick Tyler Eifert, make Dalton an intriguing fantasy football QB this year. He could end up in the top 10 and is an intriguing fantasy sleeper.

15. Josh Freeman, TB – Freeman is no better than a No. 2 and sub in fantasy, especially because Greg Schiano wants to run the ball. But he does have skill on the outside and should take another step forward in 2013.

16. Carson Palmer, Arz – Palmer is a fantasy sleeper this year. His offensive line isn’t great, but he does have a lot of talent at the receiver position including all-world WR Larry Fitzgerald. Considering that the Cardinals should be passing a lot this year, expect Palmer’s number to increase accordingly.

17. Philip Rivers, SD – A lot of Rivers downfall has been the result of the exodus of talent to other teams. TE Antonio Gates is old and there really isn’t any big names on the outside. Look for respectable numbers but Rivers is no more than a fill-in.

18. Ben Roethlisberger, Pit - The loss of WR Mike Wallace is huge, but there is still talent outside in Pittsburgh. And Roethlisberger is the master of broken plays and making something out of nothing. Good for Pittsburgh, but not great for fantasy.

19. Joe Flacco, Bal – Sorry Joe, the loss of WR Anquain Boldin in the off-season and TE Dennis Pita in training camp is too much.

20. Sam Bradford, Stl – This might be it for Bradford. He has a talented O-line and serious speed on the outside. He could boom and end up top 12, or remain a non-factor once again.

1. Baltimore Ravens (+8) vs. NE – The Patriots should win this game, but it’s not going to be in blowout fashion like their game vs. the Texans a week ago. The Ravens have become a resilient team and are as healthy as they’ve been for some time.

QB Joe Flacco and Co. are making plays and the defense is still pretty stingy in terms of points allowed.

The Patriots have adjusted to life without star TE Rob Gronkowski so that won’t be as big of a loss as a year ago, but expect the Ravens to make this a close contest until the end and cover the point spread.

Next

2. San Francisco 49ers (-4) vs. Atl – This will be a lot closer early on than most think. QB Colin Kaepernick-mania is in full effect after his impressive showing a week ago, but things will be different in the noisy dome. DC Mike Nolan will also scheme to take away some of his effectiveness running the ball.

The Falcons offensively match up pretty well in the passing game, but in the end it won’t matter. The 49ers massive offensive and defensive lines will control this game and San Francisco will wear Atlanta down in the 2nd half and win by 7-10 points.

Must Start

1. Peyton Manning vs. Oak – It’s the Raiders.

2. Aaron Rodgers vs. Det – The Lions have been surrendering a lot of yards and TDs through the air.

3. Tom Brady vs. Hou – The Texans pass D is a liability.

4. Eli Manning vs. NO – The Saints D ranks near the bottom in every category.

Next

Andrew Luck vs. Ten – Stick with the rookie phenom in this one.

Drew Brees vs. NYG – He’ll be throwing all afternoon on this secondary.

RGIII vs. Bal – The Ravens could be without LB Terrell Suggs and RGIII is on fire.

The Rest

Matt Ryan vs. Car – His best games have come on the road in 2012.

Cam Newton vs. Atl – The Falcons DBs are dinged up and Newton is playing his best ball of the season.

Matt Stafford vs. GB – 15-20 fantasy points is likely on SNF. Stafford’s taken a step back this year.

Matt Schaub vs. NE – The Texans will attack a porous Patriots pass D.

Josh Freeman vs. Phi – The Eagles have quit on the season and their pass D is pathetic.

Joe Flacco vs. Was - Flacco is tough to trust but the Redskins DBs give up a lot of big plays.

Tony Romo vs. Cin – Romo’s playing well and will hit 20-25 fantasy points on Sunday.

Andy Dalton vs. Dal – Dalton’s played exceptionally well over the 4 game winning streak.

1. Aaron Rodgers vs. NYG – Rodgers is hitting on all cylinders and the Giants were giving up an awful lot of big plays prior to the bye.

2. Tom Brady vs. NYJ – Although Gronkowski’s loss is big, Brady ALWAYS plays well in New York. Look for 300 yards and 3 TDs on Thursday.

3. Peyton Manning vs. KC – 300 yards and 3 TDs is a given against this pitiful D.

4. Matt Ryan vs. TB – He’s coming off a 5 INT performance vs. the Cardinals but will rebound here.

Next

Drew Brees vs. SF – The way to attack SF is through the air, which is what the Saints do best.

Matt Stafford vs. Hou – He’s been inconsistent ALL year but good the weeks after a subpar performances. This is one of those weeks and the Texans pass D is highly suspect.

Andrew Luck vs. Buf – The Bills at home are an inviting sight for Luck after last week’s debacle at New England.

The Rest

Andy Dalton vs. Oak – The Raiders are playing some of the worst defense ever.

Eli Manning vs. GB – His past month has been horrendous, but coming off the bye, look for Eli to rebound.

Tony Romo vs. Was – The Skins feature one of the worst secondaries in the NFL, but the question is can the O Line give Romo time? Look for 250 yards and 1-2 TDs.

Joe Flacco vs. SD – Flacco’s a different QB on the road.

Colin Kaepernick vs. NO – Kaepernick is an interesting fantasy sleeper and could put up 20-25 fantasy points.

RGIII vs. Dal – Look for 200 yards plus an additional 50+ on the ground to go with 1-2 TDs.

Jake Locker vs. Jax – Locker’s a 15-20 fantasy point candidate against a porous Jags D.

Carson Palmer vs. Cin – The Raiders porous D has turned Palmer into a No. 1 fantasy football QB because he’s forced to throw so much.

Matt Schaub vs. Det – The back of the Lions D is a weakness.

Russell Wilson vs. Mia – The Dolphins strength is its run D, not it’s pass D.
