Top Pick

1. Denver Broncos (-7.5) vs. Arz – Both teams are coming off a bye but it looks like the Cardinals will have to go with QB Drew Stanton again. That’ll be tough facing an improved Broncos D. Look for Peyton and Co. to fire on all cylinders and cover the point spread.

Next

2. Pittsburgh Steelers (-6) vs. Jax – The Jaguars will face an embarrassed team on Sunday. Look for Pittsburgh to add to the Jags’ woes and throttle them by double digits.

3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+11) vs NO – The Saints will likely win, but something is missing from this year’s team. They’re not nearly as good on defense, and the offense isn’t scoring at will like it has in the past. The Bucs will keep this one close.

4. Kansas City Chiefs (+5.5) vs. SF – See money line bet.

Rounding Things Out

New York Giants (-4) vs. Atl – The Falcons are banged up along the OL and have a poor defense. The Giants are much improved in recent weeks and will win this by a TD.

Baltimore Ravens (+3.5) vs. Ind – The Colts D is the biggest worry for this team. The Ravens are a slightly more well rounded team and will cover the point spread. They may win.

Cincinnati Bengals (EVEN) vs. NE – Bill Belichick is masterful at putting bad losses behind him but he’s not a magician who can wave a magic wand and cure his team’s OL woes. They’re real and the entire offense will continue to suffer as a result. It’ll keep the D on the field longer than it wants to be as well. Look for the Bengals, who are the more complete team, to win in New England.

Money Line Bet

Kansas City Chiefs (+205) vs. SF – There is something not right about these 49ers on offense and rumors persist of locker room discontent. While the latter is just a rumor, the poor play on offense is not. The Chiefs match up well and look for Alex Smith and Co. to get the better of his old team on Sunday.

Cream of the crop

1. Seattle Seahawks vs. Jags – Seattle should shutout the Jags and force 4+ turnovers.

2. Denver Broncos vs. Oak – The Broncos are a close 1a. They’ll smother the Raiders and force multiple turnovers on Monday Night.

3. San Francisco 49ers vs. Ind – Tough job for Luck and Co. on the road.

4. NY Jets vs. Buf –The Jets will be coming off 10 days rest and confuse QB Manuel at home.

Not far behind

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Chi – Expect the Steelers to force Cutler and Co. into a few turnovers.

New England Patriots vs. TB – The Bucs are self destructing and are not a disciplined team.

Minnesota Vikings vs. Cle – This unit is a lot more attractive with QB Brandon Weeden out. It was attractive with him in. RB Trent Richardson is out now too.

Rounding things out

Cleveland Browns vs. Min – QB Christian Ponder has been good for one pick six each week.

Baltimore Ravens vs. Hou - It’s night and day for Baltimore’s D at home.

Chicago Bears vs. Pit – The Steelers offense is really struggling especially on the O Line.

Houston Texans vs Bal – The unit has under performed thus far, but Baltimore’s offense is awful and they could be sans RB Ray Rice.

Cincinnati Bengals vs. GB – This is a low No. 1 D this week vs. a potent Packers D.

New York Giants vs. Car – NYG is a fantasy sleeper in Week 3. QB Cam Newton is pressing and New York played him well a year ago.

Miami Dolphins vs. Atl – They’re still a low No. 1 here. The Falcons are without RB Steven Jackson and WR Roddy White is limited.

Potential Bust – Beware

Dallas Cowboys vs. Stl – The Cowboys are improved but so are the Rams. Look for St. Louis to put up 27 points.

Must Start

1. Chicago Bears vs. Sea – The Seahawks don’t play well on the road against top defenses.

2. San Francisco 49ers vs. Stl – The 49ers D has been ferocious its past two games.

3. Houston Texans vs. Ten – The Texans are well rested and facing an offense in turmoil.

4. New England Patriots vs. Mia – The Pats are picking up turnovers in bunches.

Next

New York Jets vs. Arz – The only thing which could rank the Jets this high is facing a rookie QB that throws lots of INTs.

Denver Broncos vs. TB – Denver’s D is more stout at home.

Dallas Cowboys vs. Phi – Look for a lot of sacks and a pick six in this one.

The Rest

Baltimore Ravens vs. Pit – If Ben Roethlisberger is out again, which all signs point to, look for another turnover laden affair.

Arizona Cardinals vs. NYJ – Mark Sanchez puts a smile on the face of many opposing defenses.

Cincinnati Bengals vs. SD – Look for the fast rising Bengals D to harass Philip Rivers all afternoon.

Carolina Panthers vs. KC – It’s the Chiefs and Brady Quinn.

Seattle Seahawks vs. Chi – Their D is better than it showed vs. Miami.

Cleveland Browns vs. Oak – The Browns have shown the ability lately to get after the QB.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Bal – The lack of offense is the biggest thing hurting this defense of late.

New York Giants vs. Was – Expect a few new wrinkles facing RGIII this time around from the Giants D.

Buffalo Bills vs. JAX – Solid fantasy sleeper facing a warm weather team in the cold.

Top Pick

1. Cincinnati Bengals (-8.5) vs. Oak – The Raiders have given up 42, 55 and 37 in the last three weeks. It’s also safe to assume that the Bengals know Carson Palmer VERY well from his years in Cincy and will dominate and cover the point spread in this one.

Next

2. Tennessee Titans (-4) vs. Jax – The Jags are likely emotionally spent from their thrilling OT loss to the Texans a week ago. The Titans, coming off the bye, are well rested after shellacking the Dolphins 37-3 in Miami.

3. St. Louis Rams (+3) vs. Arz – Both teams are shaky, but one is on a 6-game losing streak and now starting a rookie, late round pick at QB. The Rams actually enter this affair in better shape.

4. Buffalo Bills (+3) vs. Ind – See money line bet.

The Rest

Atlanta Falcons (-1) vs. TB – The Falcons are not currently playing their best ball, but still one of the Super Bowl betting favorites in the NFC. They’ve also performed better on the road this year.

Cleveland Browns (+1) vs. Pit – This will be a low scoring affair but tough to see 37-year old Charlie Batch leading Pittsburgh to victory.

Denver Broncos (-10) vs. KC – These games are usually close in KC, but won’t be this year. The Chiefs are that bad.

Money Line Bet

Buffalo Bills (+130) vs. Ind – The Colts are 6-4 and in the playoff race, but way ahead of schedule from where most thought they would be in Andrew Luck’s 1st year. With wins meaning more to the Colts from this point on, look for Indy to fall short on Sunday.

1. Denver Broncos (-7.5) vs. SD – The Broncos overcame a 24 point halftime deficit in their earlier game to still win by double digits. Covering the 7.5 point spread won’t be as difficult for Peyton Manning and Co. this time. The Chargers are a cut below this year.

Next

2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-1.5) vs. Car – The Bucs figured out Cam Newton in Week 1 and have found their stride of late. The Panthers are still trying to figure out how to play a complete game.

3. Detroit Lions (+3.5) vs. GB – Both teams are banged up but figure the home team will keep it to within a FG – if not winning outright – as they are the more desperate team of the two. Green Bay will also be without LB Clay Matthews.

4. Philadelphia Eagles (+3.5) vs. Was – See money line bet.

The Rest

New England Patriots (-9.5) vs. Ind – This is a lot of points to give to an up and coming team but HC Bill Belichick has been known to dial up creative game plans when facing prominent rookie QBs over his career. We expect a 30-20 finish.

Cincinnati Bengals (-3) vs. KC – The Bengals are poised to make a run here over the next few weeks.

Jacksonville Jaguars (+15.5) vs. Hou – The Texans are coming off a hard fought Sunday Night win vs. the Bears and will play again on Thanksgiving in Detroit, just four days later. This has the look of a trap game.

Money Line Bet

Philadelphia Eagles (+170) vs. Was – No matter how bad things get, Andy Reid teams always seems to play well vs. the Redskins. Rookie QB Nick Foles 1st career start adds a different dimension to this game, which may present challenges for the Skins who have no film on him.

Regardless, the Redskins have lost an astonishing 8 games in a row to rookie signal callers and that will become 9 on Sunday.

Must Start

1. Houston Texans vs. Jax – This could be a trap game, but the Texans D/ST is the top rated fantasy football unit facing an anemic Jags offense.

2. San Francisco 49ers vs. Chi – It looks like Jason Campbell will be asked to go in this one. Look for the 49ers to be ALL over him on MNF.

3. Dallas Cowboys vs. Cle – The Cowboys D is coming on strong – especially the front four. Expect a 15-20 fantasy point afternoon.

4. Chicago Bears vs. SF – If Alex Smith is forced to sit, Colin Kaepernick will be in for a long night vs. the Bears.

Next

Denver Broncos vs. SD – The Broncos have found their stride and will continue to force Philip Rivers into turnovers.

Baltimore Ravens vs. Pit – With Leftwich likely starting, the Ravens instantly become a top 10 fantasy football D/ST this week.

Atlanta Falcons vs. Arz – The Falcons will get back on track this week. The Cards still can’t protect the QB or run the ball.

The Rest

Cincinnati Bengals vs. KC – The Bengals become an excellent fantasy sleeper unit especially if Brady Quinn re-enters the starting lineup.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Bal – We have a feeling that the Chiefs game was a trap. They’ll be raring to go in this one.

New Orleans Saints vs. Oak – Yes, the Saints make the list. The Raiders are a turnover prone offense and will likely be playing catch-up in this one.

St. Louis Rams vs. NYJ – Any D facing Mark Sanchez and Co. has some promise.

Washington Redskins vs. Phi – It’s at home and vs. a rookie QB who is playing behind an offensive line in shambles. Fantasy sleeper play here.

Cleveland Browns vs. Dal – This is only because the Cowboys have been turnover prone this year and the Browns have been solid of late.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Car – Greg Schiano’s D figured out Cam Newton in Week 1.

Miami Dolphins vs. Buf – If the Dolphins offense can hold onto the ball, the D will do its job this week.
