1. Indianapolis Colts (-3) vs. Ten -This point spread is somewhat surprising. 0-2 is nothing new for this team and they will come out firing in Tennessee. Expect the aggressive Colts D to force Mariota into sacks and turnovers while Luck re-finds his groove.

Next

2. Arizona Cardinals (-6.5) vs. SF - This is an interesting game because we’re not sure which 49ers team will show up: the team that crushed the Vikings in Week 1 or were blown out in Pittsburgh in Week 2. We know which Cardinals team will show up though.

3. Seattle Seahawks (-14.5) vs. Chi – We rarely suggest taking teams favored by more than two TDs. However, this is too hard to pass up. The Bears come in on life support and the Seahawks need a win – and a convincing one – in the worst way. They’ll win easily.

4. Oakland Raiders (+3.5) vs. Cle – Cleveland is turning back to QB Josh McCown which has created a slight controversy. The Raiders are coming off an impressive win against Baltimore and could take another one here. They’re a good money line bet (+165) too.

Rounding Things Out

San Diego Chargers (+2.5) vs. Min – These are two fairly matched teams and San Diego will relish facing former HC Norv Turner who is the Vikings OC. The Chargers have slightly more firepower thanks to QB Rivers.

Houston Texans (-7) vs. TB – The Texans O will need to do just enough to easily win this one. JJ Watt and Co. will make life miserable for QB Winston all day.

Jacksonville Jaguars (+13.5) vs. NE – New England is coming off an emotional victory over the Bills last week. Expect them to sleepwalk most of Sunday.

Top Pick

1. St. Louis Rams (-3) vs. Was – The Rams likely need to score 13 points to cover this point spread. It’s not likely the Skins will be able to muster much of anything vs. Gregg Williams‘ aggressive D. St. Louis destroyed Washington in their home park a year ago and there is a good chance we’ll see another dominating effort here.

Next

2. New Orleans Saints (-10) vs. TB – It can be nerve wracking to give up 10 points in any game, but this is a pretty safe bet. The Saints have their problems on both sides of the ball but will continue to improve offensively as they figure out an identity. The Bucs have a LONG way to go and their defensive issues are most concerning. Expect a win in the ballpark of 31-10.

3. New York Jets (+7) vs. Ind – The Colts should win but will find the going tough. The Jets are tough along the lines and their D is much better than a year ago. The Colts have an all-world QB with solid skill players, but lack toughness in the trenches.

4. Cincinnati Bengals (-3) vs. SD – Cincinnati is looking like a complete team this year and a threat to win their 1st playoff game with Andy Dalton under center. There’s a long way to go before that but they’ll move to 2-0 on Sunday. Look for a close game which the Bengals pull out by a TD to cover the point spread.

Rounding Things Out

Buffalo Bills (EVEN) vs. NE – Defense, defense, defense. Expect a low scoring game which moves the Bills to 2-0.

Minnesota Vikings (-2.5) vs. Det – Not sure what Monday Night was but expect the Vikings to bounce back in their home opener. They ALWAYS give Matt Stafford issues.

Arizona Cardinals (-2) vs. Chi – The Bears are still figuring things out under new HC John Fox. Go with Bruce Arians squad here.

Miami Dolphins (-3.5) vs. Was – The RGIII fiasco seems to have settled slightly for the time being. The Dolphins are a much better football team than the Skins and look for Tannehill and Co. to come out of the gates fast this year. They’ll win by a TD and cover the point spread.

Next

Arizona Cardinals (-2) vs. NO – A lot of question marks surround this Saints team. They’re running a new offense and have some key defensive players out right now. Arizona is a tough place to play and we expect the Cardinals to pull out the W.

NY Giants (+6) vs. Dal – The home team is likely to win but these games are always high scoring and close.

Jacksonville (+3) vs. Car – Gut says go with Carolina who is the better team. But a lot of question marks surround this offense once again (loss of stud WR Benjamin) and Jacksonville has young playmakers and a defense better than most realize. They’re a good money line bet too (+145)

Rounding Things Out

Green Bay Packers (-6) vs. Chi – John Fox will do a lot of good in Chicago. It just won’t happen right away. The Bears offense is ailing and its D has uncertainty all over. Green Bay will win going away.

Kansas City Chiefs (+1) vs. Hou – This is really a toss up, but we’ll go with the better all around team. Houston is breaking in a new QB, Arian Foster is sidelined and WR Andre Johnson is no longer there.

Buffalo Bills (+2.5) vs. Ind – They’re going to be fired up for Rex Ryan’s first game. The Bills D is stout and on offense the only question mark is a QB. Sure, that’s a big question mark, but the Bills might just out muscle Indy in its own park on Sunday.

Top Pick

1. Baltimore Ravens (-6) vs. SD – Baltimore is a very difficult place to play after Thanksgiving.

Next

2. Cincinnati Bengals (-3.5) vs. TB – The Bengals defense is getting healthier and they’ve put the clamps down on the Saints and Texans respectively. They’ll do so again against a reeling Bucs unit.

3. Pittsburgh Steelers (-4.5) vs. NO – The Saints have lost three in a row (all at home) and are an average outdoor team.

4. New England Patriots (+3) vs. GB – See money line bet.

Rounding Things Out

Denver Broncos (-2) vs. KC – Last week’s loss against the Raiders for the Chiefs was a trap game, but they’re missing the requisite firepower to knock off the Broncos.

Atlanta Falcons (+2) vs. Arz – The Cardinals have gotten everything out of its talent and are trying to win with QB Drew Stanton the rest of the way. This will be a tougher game than many realize.

Oakland Raiders (+7) vs. Stl. – The Rams D has stepped up considerably but there are still major issues on offense. Look for Oakland to keep this close throughout.

Money Line Bet

New England Patriots (+140) vs. GB – The Packers have whipped opponents recently at home, putting up 50+ respectively against the Eagles and Bears. The Patriots are an interesting team because they can beat opponents multiple ways and their D is set up to stop the pass. Look for a close game which New England pulls out.

Top Pick

1. Cincinnati Bengals (+2) vs. Hou – See money line bet.

Next

2. San Francisco 49ers (-9) vs. Was – RGIII is horrible and will find the going that much tougher facing a stingy 49ers D in San Francisco. The 49ers have offensive troubles of their own but this will not be much of a contest.

3. Arizona Cardinals (+7) vs. Sea – The Seahawks should win, but their strength – running the ball – plays directly into the hands of Arizona. The Cardinals stop the run with the best of them. Look for a low scoring affair that is close throughout.

4. St. Louis Rams (+4.5) vs. SD – The Rams defense, which entered the season with so much promise, is now starting to realize it. They played lights out against the Broncos a week ago. They face a beat up Chargers team and a hurting QB. Look for the Rams to pull off the upset in SD.

Rounding things out

New England Patriots (-7) vs. Det – The Lions D always keeps things close but there are real issues along their offensive line. Look for New England to exploit this.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+6) vs. Chi – Lovie Smith and Josh McCown will come back to Chicago and give their former team a run for their money.

Minnesota Vikings (+10) vs. GB – The Pack crushed Minnesota last time in Lambeau. It’ll be closer this time.

Money Line Bet

Cincinnati Bengals (+110) vs Hou – Cincinnati’s problems stemmed from some key injuries on D. They’re starting to get healthier on that side of the ball and will cover the point spread and beat the Texans this week. Ryan Mallett will struggle on this day.

Must Start

Seattle, Kansas City and San Francisco

Tier 1

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Ten – Look for Philly to blitz the Titans into 2-3 turnovers.

New England Patriots vs. Det – The Patriots are still a low No. 1 facing a tough O at home.

Tier 2

Arizona Cardinals vs. Sea – They’ll force Russell Wilson into a few turnovers.

Green Bay Packers vs. Min – The Packers are rolling at home. This one they take on the road.

Bust

Detroit Lions vs. NE – This Lions team is a tough unit each week, but New England is on a roll and playing at home.

Fantasy Sleeper

St. Louis Rams vs. SD – The Rams recent resurgence is not a fluke. They’re finally buying into the system and will get after Rivers.

Denver, Miami and Detroit

Tier 1

Buffalo Bills vs. Mia – Tannehill is banged up as is Lamar Miller and their LT is out for the year.

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Sea – Russell Wilson is playing horribly. Expect a few turnovers and a low scoring affair.

Seattle Seahawks vs. KC – Alex Smith and Co. have had difficulties getting untracked and it won’t start here.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Ten – Look for a big bounce back on MNF. Tennesee may be playing without TE Delanie Walker.

Tier 2

Minnesota Vikings vs. Chi – It’s surprising but the Bears offense is a mess now. Cutler will turn the ball over a few times again.

Cleveland Browns vs. Hou – This D is rounding into form. Uncertainty for Houston with Mallett behind center.

Houston Texans vs. Cle – This game figures to be low scoring. Look for Watt to get to Hoyer a few times.

San Francisco 49ers vs. NYG – The Giants get Jennings back at RB so temper expectations here.

Bust

Cincinnati Bengals vs. NO – Injuries have derailed their success. Stay away this week.

Fantasy Sleeper

New Orleans Saints vs. Cin – They’ve put up a string of quality efforts and face a struggling Bengals offense.

TY Hilton vs. NE – This game could be a shootout.

DeSean Jackson vs. TB – Jackson will top 100 with a score this week.

Golden Tate vs. Arz – The Cards have struggled stopping the pass.

Mike Evans vs. Was – Evans is coming into his own. Found the end zone multiple weeks.

Anquan Boldin vs. NYG – New York’s secondary is depleted.

Michael Crabtree vs. NYG – See above.

Alshon Jeffery vs. Min – Jeffery will return to the end zone and top 90 yards.

Odell Beckham vs. SF – Beckham will top the century mark again as the Giants find different ways to get him involved.

Kelvin Benjamin vs. Atl – Benjamin cleaned up in garbage time MNF and has another easy match-up here.

Tier 2

Martavis Bryant vs. Ten – The rookie has scored six TDs in four games.

Brandin Cooks vs. Cin – Another rookie who is stepping up. His speed will create problems for the Bengals.

Pierre Garcon vs. TB – He appears to play 2nd fiddle to Jackson in RGIII’s offense, but the Bucs give up a lot through the air.

Andre Johnson vs. Cle – The Bengals D is playing very well. This pushes Johnson down a notch this week.

Cordarrelle Patterson vs. Chi – The Bears D is in shambles.

Greg Jennings vs. Chi – Jennings is a No. 3 and will top 70 passing yards.

Larry Fitzgerald vs. Det – The Lions D keeps Fitzgerald at a No. 3 WR this week.

Reggie Wayne vs. NE – The Pats will keep his yards in check but a solid PPR play.

Keenan Allen vs. Oak – Allen is a flex at this point.

Dwayne Bowe vs. Sea – Expect Bowe to haul in 5-6 catches and 70 yards.

Julian Edelman vs Ind – Strong in PPR leagues. Brady and Lafell are still working to get on the same page.

Jordan Matthews vs. GB – It looks like the switch to QB Mark Sanchez will benefit him tremendously.

Bust

Mike Wallace vs. Buf – His QB is banged up and the Bills play stout D.

Fantasy Sleeper

Andre Holmes vs. SD – Torched SD for 2 TDs in their earlier contest and faces a depleted secondary again.
