What two players should I start among the following week 1:
Pierre Thomas

The matchups aren’t great for any of the five, but the two best would be RB Felix Jones and WR Mike Sims-Walker. The Redskins are implementing a new defensive scheme and will not have DT Albert Haynesworth to clog the middle out of spite, and the Broncos have no one who can pressure QB David Garrard with DE Elvis Dumervill out for the year. Champ Bailey is still a terrific CB, but it’s hard to cover receivers for long periods of time in today’s game. RB Pierre Thomas would be 3rd but his effectiveness will be dependent on how the game turns out. The Vikings, with the Williams’ twins in the middle, are very difficult to run against. We think the Saints will take to the air…

Brett Favre or Eli Manning for week 1. Also could start Matt Stafford vs. the Bears.

Between Eli Manning and Brett Favre in Week 1 go with Favre. Eli Manning historically starts off very strong in the beginning of the season but John Fox always game plans the Giants well. The Vikes/Saints game could be a high scoring affair but the loss of Sidney Rice raises questions about Favre’s fantasy value. However, I still think there is a lot there with Harvin, Schiancoe and Camarillo, and of course Peterson out of the backfield. And the Saints are missing S Darren Sharper in the secondary now.
But Stafford might have the best day of all three. The Lions are stacked at the skill positions and the Bears are lacking in their secondary. I can see Megatron hauling in a few long TDs on Sunday.

Floyd, Willams (TB), Gaffney and Berrian in that order.
While it remains to be seen how the Chargers receiving corps shakes out, there’s a good chance Floyd becomes Rivers No. 1 option on the outside. Early observations suggest that Williams could be legit in Tampa, and there’s no one else. Gaffney’s a journeyman receiver but Denver only has Eddie Royal, who has fizzled out in recent years. Berrian’s the least appealing because it looks like Harvin and Camarillo will see the ball thrown their way more than him.

Go with SD. They’re at home and should be playing with a large lead. That will force McNabb into obvious passing situations which the Chargers will capitalize on.

Peyton doubtful and i have him in 2 leagues so who should i pick up for week 1: league 1 kolb or orton, league 2 campbell, alex smith, garrard, or hasselbeck .
also I have felix jones vs jets or jacoby ford, this league is .05 ppr and 20yrds per return yards

Need to choose one Flex Player – BJGE, T Hightower, S Moss, or B Lloyd?
Rest of Line-Up is set w/B Rothlesberger, Chris Johnson, M Turner, H Nicks, M Wallace, K Winslow, M Crosby, and New Orleans. I’m leaning toward Lloyd.

For League 1, Kolb or Orton is a toss up. However, we’d go with Kolb as they’re at home.
For League 2, Hasselback is your best bet. Go with Jones for the flex. Running room will be difficult to come by against the Jets but he’ll definitely see a lot of action as a receiver out of the backfield.

Hasselbeck was taking off the market- go figure, here are my choices to fill in for manning: grossman campbell, alex smith , or t. jackson if he’s starting for seattle.

Biggest problem with Schaub is the Texans will probably run for 200 yards against the Colts again. I think it’s a toss up and Big Ben may actually have a better fantasy day due to throwing the ball more. We’d put Roethlisberger slightly higher than Schaub in Week 1.
Go with the Cardinals.

It’s not a promising quartet to say the least. We’d go with this order: 1. Campbell, 2. Smith, 3. Grossman and 4 T Jackson.
Cardinals D although the Titans just became more attractive after Garrard’s release. Stick with Arizona vs. the Rookie on the road…

While Tolbert isn’t the starter, we could see him finding the end zone in San Diego’s romp on Sunday. I’m not high on Lynch at San Francisco.

Is it a PPR league? Holmes is a definite. The Cowboys secondary is suspect and Sanchez loves Santonio. Go with Benson over the other two.

We like Cleveland, but San Diego’s probably the safer play. The fact that they’ll have a large lead likely means a few 2nd half turnovers at McNabb’s expense. Go with Manningham over Mendenhall; Manningham was a beast against the Skins a year ago, and Washington’s secondary is banged up. Pettigrew and Stafford to round it out.

Without knowing if Maclin’s 100% healthy, we’d still stick with Wayne until we see a game or two with Collins as the helm. Floyd has a chance for a score but he’s clearly the 3rd option at best in San Diego’s passing game.

Even though Ward is getting the start, we’d go with Tate. His upside is greater. Also go with Best. We think the Bengals offense is going to struggle badly today with Dalton behind center. This affects Benson’s effectiveness.
