Green Bay Packers (-4.5) vs. New Orleans Saints – The Super Bowl Champion hasn’t lost an opener on Thursday Night in a long time. And it won’t happen on Thursday.
The Packers enter the season healthy and have all the pieces in place to defend their title.
The New Orleans Saints are an intriguing team especially on the offensive side of the ball, but they’ll be breaking in a new rookie running back (Mark Ingram) and their defense is highly suspect.
The same can’t be said for Green Bay, who are stacked on both sides of the ball.
Expect Aaron Rogers and Co. to take advantage of this weakness and pull away in the 2nd half to win by at least a TD.
The betting odds are very attractive for the hometown Packers who will cover the point spread.
