Must Starts
1. Andre Johnson vs. Indy- The only thing that will stop him week 1 is the success of the Texans ground game. If the offense is balanced, Johnson easily tops 100 yards with 1 TD.
2. Roddy White vs. Chi- The Bears have no one in the secondary who can keep up with White.
3. Calvin Johnson vs. TB- It will be the Stafford & Calvin Johnson show Week 1 in Tampa. Look for a monster fantasy football day from Megatron.
4. Hakeem Nicks vs. Was- The Giants top receiver will be targeted early and often against the Skins.
Next
Vincent Jackson vs. Min- The Vikings secondary will get abused on Sunday due to their lack of pass rush. Jackson will find the end zone on at least one long pass.
Larry Fitzgerald vs. Car- Look for Fitzgerald to torch the Panthers secondary on opening day. 100 yards and 1 TD.
Greg Jennings vs. NO – The Packers’ No. 1 receiver will be too much for the Saints secondary on opening night.
The Rest
Mike Wallace vs. Bal- The fastest man on the field will haul in at least one bomb from Big Ben against the Ravens.
Santonio Holmes vs. Dal- The sleek receiver will run circles around the Cowboys secondary.
Miles Austin / Dez Bryant vs. NYJ- Whichever receiver Revis is not covering is in for a big game.
Wes Welker vs. Mia- Look for 10 catches and a score on Monday Night.
Marques Colston vs. GB- Brees will throw at least 40 passes against the Packers and Colston will be the beneficiary of a few big plays.
Dwayne Bowe vs. Buf- The Bills have no one in the secondary that can keep up with Bowe.
Percy Harvin vs. SD- Look for McNabb to target Harvin heavily over the middle of the defense against the Chargers.
Mario Manningham vs. Was- Super Mario posted big numbers against the Skins a year ago. That will continue in Week 1.
DeSean Jackson vs. Stl- Expect DeSean to get deep at least once vs. the Rams.
Brandon Marshall vs. NE – Marshall matches up well against the Pats secondary. The Fins will be passing a lot on Monday Night.
Mike Williams vs. Det – The Lions CBs are a weakness. Look for Freeman and Williams to hook up plenty in Week 1.
Reggie Wayne vs. Hou- Keep an eye on who the starting QB is. If Peyton Manning, this a no brainer.
Sidney Rice vs. SF – The 49ers have many questions at the CB position. Look for Rice to start off his Seattle career with a bang.
Fantasy Sleeper
Braylon Edwards vs. Sea- The 49ers offense has looked horrible all preseason but they’ll find success against their rival on Sunday. Expect Edwards, who has a lot to prove, to be an solid fantasy sleeper in Week 1.
