Must Starts
1. Antonio Gates – Phillip Rivers will look in Gates direction all afternoon and the Pro Bowl TE will respond with 80 yards and a TD. He’s the top fantasy football TE in Week 2.
2. Dallas Clark - The lack of a Colts running game will mean Peyton Manning is passing all night. And Clark will see plenty of balls and eclipse 75 yards with a TD.
3. Jermichael Finley – Finley’s number wasn’t called much in Week 1 because it wasn’t needed. The Packers dominated Philadelphia. He’ll find the end zone on Sunday and top 70 receiving yards.
4. Vernon Davis - Davis will be Alex Smith’s top target Monday Night and the absence of S Darren Sharper will mean a big game for No. 85.
Next In Line
Brent Celek - The Eagles offense never found its rhythm vs. the Packers. There will be no such troubles this week against Detroit.
Jason Witten - The Bears have a soft spot in the middle of their defense which Tony Romo and Witten will exploit. Look for over 75 yards and a TD.
Todd Heap – Joe Flacco loves targeting Heap over the middle and the duo will have a strong game on Sunday.
Rounding Out the List
Tony Gonzalez - Gonzalez will be a top target of Matt Ryan’s on Sunday and find the end zone against the Cardinals.
Jermaine Gresham – Without S Ed Reed, expect the Bengals to throw in Gresham’s direction plenty.
Chris Cooley – Donovan McNabb showed he plans to target Cooley a ton this season. Look for another 50 yard game plus a score.
Visanthe Schiancoe - Brett Favre’s top receiving target – for now – will find the end zone again in Week 2.
Zach Miller - The Raiders TE will be the No. 1 target for Jason Campbell and will top 60 yards with a TD vs the Rams.
Fantasy Sleeper of the Week
Dustin Keller - The Patriots are incredibly young in their secondary and the Jets will attack this part of the defense. The speedy TE has played well against the Pats in his career and is an excellent fantasy sleeper in Week 2.
